I think the title says it all for me. I can't imagine not being an artist, nor not loving it as I do.

There is a half-child/half-adult person with a bunny ear hat as the central figure because when one creates, it's the inner child that comes out to play along side the adult. The fabricated copper poppy seed pods represent illusion. The tree of knowledge resides in the lower left hand corner and in the top etched brass circle as an over-riding influence. The red house is my studio, way up high as a sanctuary. The all-seeing eye plant (lower right) is a source of insight. And the looking glass over the central figure's eye represents the unique personal lens that filters all she sees as an artist.
